Justice. Hope. Advocacy.

A national advocacy movement standing with Nigerians who have been pushed aside — speaking up for their rights, their welfare and their dignity.

Who we are

Every voice matters, most of all the ones that are least often heard.

Voices for Downtrodden is a grassroots advocacy organisation working across Nigeria for the poor, the vulnerable and the forgotten.

We take people's complaints to those who can act on them, support communities to claim the services they are entitled to, and push for policies that leave no one behind.

What we do

Justice

We take up cases of injustice and neglect and follow them through with the right authorities until they are resolved.

Hope

We connect struggling families, widows, young people and the elderly to welfare, empowerment and support programmes.

Advocacy

We speak for the grassroots in public debate and engage leaders at every level for fair and inclusive policies.

Our leadership

The national team coordinating our work across the country.
